How We Write and Update Windows Guides
This website publishes independent Windows how-to content. Our purpose is to make settings understandable and to help readers judge whether a change is necessary, reversible and compatible with their PCs.
Evidence and attribution
We prefer primary documentation from Microsoft and the upstream Winhance project. We link to relevant sources near technical claims. Content that summarizes an external reference should identify that reference rather than pretend the site produced original software documentation.
Testing and limitations
We do not claim that a particular tweak boosts FPS, security or battery life without reproducible measurements. Procedures are general guidance unless a specific Windows build, device and test method are explicitly stated. Your PC may behave differently because of updates, hardware, edition or management policies.
Changes and dates
Articles may be updated when Windows or Winhance behavior changes. A modification date means the article was edited, not necessarily that every instruction was re-tested on hardware that day.
Risk and recovery
Guides should explain dependencies, backups and rollback when a step affects system packages, security settings, installation media or administrative policies. We avoid blanket recommendations to disable Windows Update or antivirus protection.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, check the upstream documentation and send the relevant page URL and Windows version through the contact method provided by the site's operator. We do not invent a customer-support email address.
